Certified Life Coach
glad to meet you!
Hi! I'm Rachel. I’m a life coach, college professor, and former president of the Overthinkers Club.
For years, my brain was my trusted companion. I taught undergraduates how to think, wrote essays, and presented conference papers but I often found myself mired in overthinking, immobilized by trying to make the “right” decision. Despite an ivy-league education and advanced degrees, too often I felt like an imposter, lacking in confidence.
With coaching, I learned to make decisions and to use my brain to create results in my life with intention. I started using my brain for myself rather than against myself, quieting my negative self talk. Through this process I realized that I wanted to prioritize growth in my life and I decided, at the age of 52, to pursue my coaching certification from The Life Coach School.
Now I'm honored to share this work with you, to help you create a life of your dreams! So much more is possible than our minds usually show us.
In my free time, I love hanging out with my husband, my two young adult children, and our schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle), Wally. I’m a big fan of audiobooks, especially mysteries, and enjoy listening to books while walking or cleaning. I also love sketching, something I started doing a few years ago, and which taught me the joys of creating art for sheer pleasure.
